It's okay to ask for help. As a Mental Health Social Worker, I am dedicated to providing counselling and therapeutic mental health services for children, young people, and returned veterans. With a focus on trauma-informed practice, I am committed to helping you supporting you on your mental health journey.
I am a queer community ally, and have experience working with queer and questioning young people.
I have experience working with people with a disability and can accommodate my practice to support you get the service you need.
As a child of migrants, I have a lot of experience with what it's like to grow up bilingual, bicultural and what it's like navigating both 'Aussie' and 'Ethnic' cultural spaces.
I can conduct therapy in Serbian and French, and have lots of experience with interpreters if we need to use one.
I can conduct sessions face to face, via telehealth or video call.

Take a break from social media for a bit- 5 minutes is a great start.

Drink some water- a glass or 2 can really help ground you when your feeling anxious.

Move your body when you can- chair yoga counts and moving your body can be great for shifting anxious or depressive feelings.

Get some time outside every day near grass, trees or water. Changing our scenery can help change your mood even for a couple of minutes.
